Kampong Chhnang
Kampong Chhnang is a central province of Cambodia; it situates at the West of the country, in the Tonle Sap region, about 90 km from the metropolitan. The province has a territory of 5,521 km2, and consists of 8 districts, 69 communes and 546 villages, and has the total population of about 700,003 and the density of population in the province is 100 per km2. The economy of the province has been dominated by rice production, and many locals live on floating fishing villages during the high water monsoon season to engage fishing.
